About me
Graciela Terife is currently a Senior Principal Scientist within Oral Formulation Sciences. Since
joining Merck in 2013 she has worked on formulation and process development for multiple
drug products. She currently leads the Hot Melt extrusion Subject Matter Expert Network
Team
She received her PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from New Jersey Institute of
Technology (NJIT). She received her MS in Plastic Engineering from Polytechnic University of
Catalunya, Barcelona Spain, and her BS in Materials Science and Engineering with concentration
in Polymers from Simon Bolivar University, Caracas, Venezuela.
She has authored 4 book chapters, and 12 peer review publications related to hot melt
extrusion and polymer science and engineering
